FOX 9: Four Sisters Share Their Breast Cancer Journeys

Four Minnesota sisters share their breast cancer journeys in a recent FOX 9 segment featuring Minnesota Oncology surgical oncologist Dr. Lisa Hamilton. After one sister’s diagnosis following a routine mammogram, her sisters pursued screening, leading to additional diagnoses within the family.

Dr. Hamilton discusses the importance of breast cancer screening and explains that negative genetic testing does not necessarily mean someone has no elevated risk. The sisters’ experiences highlight the importance of early detection, understanding family health history and supporting loved ones through cancer.
