Twin Cities Live: Dr. Paul Thurmes Shares What Comes Next After a Cancer Diagnosis

Receiving a cancer diagnosis can feel overwhelming. In a recent Twin Cities Live segment, Minnesota Oncology President Dr. Paul Thurmes joined the show to discuss what patients can expect after hearing the words, "You have cancer." 

During the interview, Dr. Thurmes shared the importance of taking time to process the diagnosis, asking questions, seeking a second opinion when appropriate, and leaning on trusted family, friends and others who have experienced a similar journey.
